Here are some pics from the end of the luncheon, as we tallied up our stock:
17 figures left on the table! Some students picked up a few (for a deal, of course!) and even a grandmother stopped by to pick up stocking stuffers!
By far, the favourite characters among the students, staff and visitors were the Gobon Rift Brothers (also my personal fave - I LOVE Michelle Doughty's amazing Gobon design - my favourite action figure of all time). Joey's bold colour choices for the Gobons were very well recieved, especially when held in the sunlight! Monster Kolor paint rocks!
Oooh! Sparkly!

As we head off into the holiday season, and we make plans to customize some more figures, I just want to take a moment to thank the incredibly generous folks at Onell Design for sending us all this stuff - you've helped to build artistic pride in our community - something that can't be bought or sold... only nurtured, and for that, I am eternally grateful.
Thanks also to the wonderful folks in the extended Glyos community at the October Toys Glyos Forum who expressed their enthusiasm (and understandable disappointment at not being able to purchase these figures online). Your comments and kudos made every student beam with pride. I've read them your comments more than once.
I am humbled and proud to be a part of this wonderful community.
Stay tuned for more creative ideas coming forward from this little corner of the web, and have a happy holiday!
Piece out, y'all!
